Your Questions, Our Answers
Q: What does a career pathway do for me and why do I want to follow one – or many?
A: A career pathway is like a map – it shows you how to get where you want to go. And where you can go on a career pathway is all the way to a first job, a new job in the same field, or in a completely new field – a job that pays a family-sustaining wage and can come with on-the-job training, or the opportunity to be paid while you get the skills you need for certain jobs.
Q: What makes WISE career pathways different from other kinds of career pathways?
A: WISE stands for Women in Sustainable Employment – we’re here to help you get the information and support you need to find satisfying work and matching skills that can help you advance in your career over a lifetime.
